November 1959, continuing a long time family tradition, Joe Stabile accepted his first customers' orders and began Stabile Plating Company. Joe devoted 37 years of his life to perfecting ways to preserve metal, while Mary Stabile concentrated on pulic relations.

After Joe's passing, In 1973, David Crest joined Mary Stabile, adding his business ingenuity. David's son, and Joe's grandson, Eric Crest, joined Stabile in 1984 and began learning the ins and outs of running the family business. David's brother, Steve Crest, came aboard in 1985 with his chemistry and compliance skills, and makes sure that all aspects of the shop are managed in accordance with the most current specifications.

Many loyal employees joined along the way and Stabile Plating is proud of their record for long-term employee satisfaction. Some employees have been with Stabile for 20 - 30 years! Each person at Stabile adds his or her own special talent, combining craftsmanship with efficient and friendly service.
